In order to ensure project work and expenditures can begin, please make sure your award has all necessary VA R&D compliance committee/subcommittee approvals.

IMR can only administer VA-approved research and educational programs. VA committee approvals need to be in place prior to expending any fund or starting a project.
+What is an
intergovernmental
personnel act (ipa),
and how do ipas
work at IMR?
An Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) mobility assignment is an agreement between the federal government and another organization for the temporary assignment of skilled personnel for work of mutual concern and benefits. IMR enters into IPAS on a limited basis. We reserve the right to reject sponsorship of any IPA at any time. Please contact Faye.Silver@imr.org to discuss IPAs.
